What differentiates kettlebell training from other fitness programs?
It teaches the “skill of strength”
Strength is a skill, not just an attribute resulting from an individual’s natural gifts, size or even dedication to lifting heavy weights. Strength can be taught, and anyone can learn it. By emphasizing perfect technique over workloads and routines, the RKC system effectively reverse-engineers what the strongest and most coordinated people do naturally. Incidental flexibility is gained through learning to economize muscle contraction and relaxation, making practitioners more resilient to injury. This, along with the simple, explosive kettlebell lifts achieve similar benefits to barbell power cleans, but in a safer and more easily learned template.
  It does it all
The somewhat antiquated ideas about separating conditioning and strength training just don’t fit into the RKC system. The grind of challenging resistance training is coupled with stamina-building, high-intensity intervals; resulting in strength and improved cardiovascular conditioning with shorter all-inclusive workouts. The idea of using a whole room full of machines to isolate individual muscle groups is fine if you want a collection of disconnected body parts, but if you’d rather build coordinated functional strength and endurance then it’s time to pick up the kettlebell.
  It is a “Principles-Based” System
The Russian Kettlebell Challenge system developed by Chief Instructor Pavel Tsatsouline is based on a set of core principles. As such, trainees do not simply learn a series of exercises with these unique weights, but rather a complete system of exercise. This is not unlike learning a sophisticated martial art in that the principles taught to beginners are the foundations of all advanced applications as well. So instead of just memorizing a small collection of techniques, trainees are taught the principles from which hundreds of techniques are born.http://www.dragondoor.com/pavel_bio.htmlshapeimage_7_link_0
