We are firm believers that the RKC system has something to offer for almost everyone.  Our unique approach emphasizes quality of technique over quantity of repetitions or volume of weight.

This scientific method yields excellent results in maximizing athletic performance, but also drives successful rehabilitation and movement therapy.  RKC Instructors often remind their students that our exercises are not really about the weight being lifted, but they are about the movement we employ to lift the weight.

Before we ask any new trainee to pick up a kettlebell, we work with them to ensure they have the core stability and mobility required to safely begin training with weights.  Many people are able to begin working with kettlebells right away, but for others it may take more time.

If you are interested in joining this class or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.  We also encourage you to forward a link to this page to your doctor so that he or she can contact us with any questions or concerns.  We are happy to correspond with your doctor prior to you beginning training, and throughout your training if necessary.

Rehabilitation & Mobility Training

The Valley Kettlebells re-hab class is designed for those who may be challenged by previous injuries or other health conditions, those who are in their more advanced years, or anyone who has a need to begin a new exercise regimen and progress at a very gradual pace. The classes will include joint mobility drills, exercises to establish healthy movement patterns, core stability work, and body-weight exercises. When trainees are ready to begin using weights, we will use light kettlebells primarily as resistance training tools and progress appropriately, based on each participants’ level of improvement.
